    Description:

    Ideal for grown-ups and their 3 - 6 year olds, Little Yogis is led by certified yoga instructor Leslie Slan. Participants are instructed in simple poses, games, music, literacy, and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness.

    Little Yogis is free and registration is optional.

    Description:

    What makes some stories truly gripping rather than merely competent? In this combination craft talk and reading, Michael Kardos will discuss key elements that contribute to the most compelling fiction. Novelists and short story writers will leave with valuable tools they can immediately apply to get their writing moving in 2025.

    Michael Kardos received a 2024 Individual Artist Fellowship in Fiction (Established Artist category) from the Delaware Division of the Arts. A two-time Pushcart Prize winner, he is the author of the novels Bluff, Before He Finds Her, and The Three-Day Affair, the story collection One Last Good Time, and the textbook The Art and Craft of Fiction: A Writer’s Guide.

    This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.

  • Community of Learning

    Rehoboth Beach Library, sitting in the center of downtown Rehoboth, strives to remain a vibrant part of this community. We serve summer visitors as well as year-round residents. We provide access to many online electronic databases, programming for adults and children. Our computers are available for use by the general public with a Delaware library card. Visiting? Guest passes good for 60min of use are also available. Patrons have access to free wi-fi.
