No Covid Testing Kits available

Covid Testing kits have all been claimed and there is no plan to order more. If you need a test, visit Delaware’s Coronavirus website to find testing locations, request a home test kit, and other important information for Delaware.

Or visit COVIDtest.gov to order At-Home Test through USPS, learn about Insurance Reimbursement for At-Home Test, and other important national information.

Visiting the Library

Library is open to the public to browse the shelves, attend programs, pick up holds, and use library computers.

  • Wear cloth mask covering nose and mouth at all times
  • Maintain 6ft of Social Distance when possible
  • Curbside & Delivery available
  • Copy, Fax, Print, Notary services open

Computers

Computer use is first come, first serve

  • 60 minute maximum per day
  • Staff can only assist with logging on and logging off of the computer

Take-Out

Order

Books, movies, music, and audiobooks available in a variety of formats. You can give us a call, or order online.

  • Printing

    Need something printed? Send your print requests to rehobothbeachlibrary@gmail.com and we will print them out for you to pick up later. Maximum 10 pages per day.

Schedule

After notification, call us to arrange a pick-up or delivery.

      • Notification
        When your items are ready you will receive a text, email, call to call the library and schedule a time to pick your holds
      • Appointment
        Appointments are scheduled in hour blocks. You will have anytime in that hour to pick up your holds.
      • Rescheduling
        If you cannot make your scheduled pick up, please call us to reschedule. All items not picked up by end of day without notice will be returned to circulation.
      • Delivery
        If you cannot make it to the library, we will come to you! Schedule delivery in the library service area. Or use Homebound, a program that promotes the use of library materials and services to homebound patrons (illness, age, infirmity or disability). Please call the library for more details.

  • When requested, go to front lobby

  • All delivery is contactless and holds will be left in a bag on the doorstep

        • Computers are a first come, first serve basis. There is free Wi-Fi access daily 6am-9pm outside all public libraries through the Library_Outdoors network.
        • Sign up for a library card online. virtual library cards may be obtained to access Overdrive, Hoopla, Flipster, and much more.
