Upcoming Holiday Programs

Before the year ends, we’ve got some fun programs planned for youth and adults!

Homestead Holiday Wrapping – November 29, 5:30 pm

Dive into the world of creative wrapping techniques, from origami-inspired folds to personalized touches that add that extra-special flair. Explore a variety of holiday-themed wrapping styles, perfect for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and more! Registration required. Class size limited.

Carols & Crafts – December 4, 5:00 pm

Stop by the Rehoboth Beach Public Library before and during the Hometown Christmas Parade to warm up and make an ornament to take home. No registration.

Spinning Yarns – December 6 & 20, 2:00 pm

Need to make a homemade gift for a special someone? Bring your project to our craft group for knitting, crochet, sewing, etc. The library has some yarn and round looms that you can use, but it is recommended that you bring your own materials.

American Girl Club: Happy Doll-idays! – December 7, 4:00 pm

All of our dolls are coming together to celebrate the most festive time of the year! Enjoy snacks, crafts, and free play with the American Girl Dolls. Recommended ages 6 & up

Gingerbread & Games – December 9, 11:00 am

Work with your friends and family to decorate a Super Mario gingerbread castle! We’ll also have the Nintendo Switch out with games to enjoy during and after the program.

Christmas with Mark Twain – December 9, 1:00 pm

One-man performer Paul Mast assumes the role of America’s beloved humorist, Mark Twain, taking you back to the late 1800’s with heartwarming tales of Christmas with the Twain family.

Holiday Concert with Bryan & the Barn Owls – December 15, 7:00 pm

Bryan & the Barn Owls present a festive, after-hours concert with folk music and holiday tunes.

Cookies & Cocoa with Santa – Friday, December 15 & Saturday, December 16, 10:30 am

Join us for our annual storytime and visit with Santa, and enjoy some homemade cookies & cocoa. Friday’s event will be for children ages 0-3 in lieu of our usual Baby & Me Storytime. Saturday’s event will be for children ages 4 and up.

Sound Bath & Meditation – Tuesday, December 19, 5:30 pm

Take a break from the holiday stress and give yourself the gift of relaxation. Sound therapist Mary Lampert will lead a meditative session at the library. You are encouraged to bring your own yoga mat. Chairs are available for those who prefer sitting up.
